and now we are six.

here is our big newly-six-year-old.

sweet and kind and silly and smart.

stubborn and an extreme perfectionist (to our and her exasperation).
we have no idea where she gets this (we say completely sarcastically).

caught between being too little and too big, six is a tough, exciting year.  we are still exploring the constantly changing boundaries of where she's ready to go and what she's ready to do.  sometimes we take steps backwards, sometimes bounding leaps forward, trying to help her move forward in God's world with grace and hope.  happy birthday dear little one!
