one photo, one thought

and suddenly she's reading.  because, in the "you can read or else just go to sleep now" choice, there really is no choice, is there?  even if you "can't read."

she still won't admit she can read, but she does it anyway. 
(someday we'll gently point out to her that what she's doing is reading, sweet girl.)
