and you can't beat the prices!

Welcome to "(little g's) Wonders"!  our very local shopping establishment:

Last week, before this uck hit our home (both in - sickness - and out, today - 35 degrees F and rain: wow, that's miserable), the girls pulled out, once again, the little cardboard box booth that K made little g quite a while ago.  They spruced it up with construction paper wall-paper and new decorations.

This booth has been a tea house, a dog adoption facility, and a restaurant to name a few things; but mostly it's (little g's) Wonders, kind of a curiosity shop of sorts, I suppose would best describe it.

K usually runs the operation, with little g acting as store manager (I guess since she's the one who fits in the tiny box) and advertiser.  Both girls love making little things to sell us and organizing the store and the "yard" around it.

I'd be all braggy and say "look at all the math and store management they're learning!" ...but that would be overstating things just a bit.  When everything costs a penny, math is pretty simple even when mom comes up with a nickel.

They have so much fun with this thing they created all by themselves, we're just happy they're happily busy!

So, what do we have today, dear little g?

what's that?

oooh, carved crayons.

the carved pictures are based on the crayon color?  you have a very talented artist supplying you!  very nice!
and how much?  a penny?!  wow.  I'll take two.

what else?  a tiny mystery package?  for two cents?

okay, one of those, too.
you made them all by yourself, little g?  oooh, mysterious!  let's see what's inside!

You took the old photo proof sheets (that I tossed) and cut them all apart into teeny tiny pictures of when you were a baby?!  how sweet!  that is probably the cutest thing ever!!  I might just have to keep that forever and ever.

Our store does have the most fun things, and stock rotation is bar none: they never have the same thing twice!  or for more than a week for that matter.

Then, when they stop playing with it for more than a few days, and we tire of tripping over it, back in the basement the store goes.  ...to return a bit later, with new and exciting products.  Or maybe it will be a veterinarian office.  One never knows!
